Dr ing. Jan Nadwyczawski and his son-in-law. Jan's father, prof. dr ing. Wladyslaw Nadwyczawski was an outstanding Polish scientist based in what is now Agricultural University of Wroclaw, Poland, who in the 1950s pioneered the introduction of  maize cultivation in Poland. The family took care of Villa Colonia, not only preserved its structure and equipment of the epoch but enriched its modernistic style accordingly to the art of architectural conservation  (designer:  ing.
