The
World's first monument to the victims of Stalinism with commemorative
plate: TO THOSE WHO HAVE REBUILT POLAND AND DEVELOPED HER REGAINED
TERRITORIES, ON THE 50th ANNIVERSARY. POLISH NATION. Further on the way
to The National Forum of Music can be seen a huge (1.5 m, 5 feet
diameter), made of black steel by Jerzy Kalina, ingenious sculptor The
Wedding Ring of Polish National Hero Cavalry Captain Witold Pilecki who
gave his life battling two totalitarian regimes of the 20th
century. Wroclaw is a city regained by non-Jewish survivors of the
(almost unknown in the West) Holocaust of non-Jews in Poland, done by
German and Russian genocidal states which planned, as Hitler put it:
"to kill without pity or mercy all men, women, and children of the
Polish race or language". This is why in Wroclaw so many
monuments commemorate
Victims of the Holocaust of the Poles, persecuted and murdered by the
Germans and Russians.
